Diving With The Coral Fish

Scuba diving has become more and more popular lately and many people just take their gear and go to see the Coral fish. The Coral fish environment is the most spectacular on earth because of the variety of colors of the fish and the reefs and all that bright and exotic life that usually surrounds you.

The coral fish have many colors, from orange to blue and red. Imagine all these colors swimming in light and shadows, turning and twisting between the walls of the reef. This is what captures the hearts of most divers and they come to see the reefs every time they can.

The coral fish have the most beautiful colors and patterns which have been created by many years of evolution. The process of evolution which has gotten them to their current state is very complex and consists of many different states before the saltwater fish reach their current state. One of the main reasons is the coral environment, which is swarming with life and has a lot of moving going on, like predators, other fish and bacteria. Over many years, the coral reef fish become accustomed to the environment of the this controlled, even beautiful chaos. Coral reef fish have evolved to live on the reef and their color patterns of an extension of that evolution.

In the home reef tank environment, it is important to try to recreate the coral reef fish environment to the greatest extent possible. This can be achieved by adding to the reef tank plenty of live rock and live corals which will help to create a stable environment that is very naturalistic for the fish. Once such an environment is created, coral reef fish will thrive with natural and frozen food sources provided by the reef as well as the owner/maintainer of the reef aquarium. Fish disease is also treated with proper knowledge on the part of the owner as well as good medicines including antibiotics, copper and formalin.

These are some of the reasons why saltwater fish tanks can be maintained now better than in the past. As time goes on, owners of saltwater fish tanks and reef tanks have access to better and better technology which allows them to recreate the reef environment.
